Senior Programme and Policy Specialist - Climate Change, Green Finance, Governance and SDGs.

Nadeem is a climate, program management and policy specialist with 18 years of experience in international development, including over 10 years focused on climate change adaptation, mitigation, and green finance. His expertise cover climate finance mobilization, NDC implementation, carbon markets, MRV systems design, and policy gap assessments. Recent roles include Climate Finance Specialist with USAID/Chemonics and ADB, Legal and Policy Advisor for AKAHP, and Team Leader for IFAD funded Project. He has worked as a technocrat at the Prime Minister’s office as an Institutional and Governance Reforms Specialist and has led multidisciplinary teams across federal and provincial governments, facilitated the formulation policies, and worked with funding partners, academia, research institutions and multiple UN agencies for program implementation. He holds an MPhil in Development Studies from the University of Sussex (IDS) and recent certifications in Results-Based Management (UNEP), MRV Systems (World Bank), and Sustainable Climate Finance (UNFCCC/UNITAR).
